Philosophy

Philosophy

Congruent with the mission of AMTF, nursing philosophy is to serve health needs of children, family and communities that are underprivileged through continuous efforts grounded in the values of quality, caring, trust, compassion and excellence.

Nurses work as a collaborative team to continuously improving the health and wellbeing of the children that come in their contact. Nurses assess, analyze, plan, implement and evaluate care that is evidence based and ensures that patient’s dignity is maintained.

We believe that it is fundamental right of every child coming in their contact to expect safe and competent nursing care from admission to discharge.

We believe that responsibility and accountability are two significant attributes of a professional nurse that ensures quality patient care based on professional nursing standards, evidence based practice and nursing process.

We believe that the standard nursing care should be delivered to all patients without discrimination with respect to their socio-economic status, religion and cultural belief.
